Youngman Roofing and Insulation have been serving local construction professionals and DIY homeowners for over 35 years. From those early days, it has always been our vision to be an one-stop solution . As the business expanded, we continued to add to our product offering and eventually started supplying more and more to the industrial and commercial sectors.

Our footprint expanded with our growth by the addition of the Ottery branch, Southern Cape Branch, Gauteng branch and recently our West coast Branch to the Youngman Roofing Group. Our head office remains in Maitland in Cape Town where we continue to happily serve a broad client base.

Every branch has a unique offering to their respective local markets, but with the same friendly and professional service-delivery attitude that has made Youngman Roofing and Insulation the success it is today.

Our locations therefore enables us to deliver an efficient service throughout South Africa. Youngman Roofing manufactures IBR, Corrugated and Concealed Fix profiles which are available in the following materials: Galvanised, Zincalume®, Zincal, Clean COLORBOND™, Colorplus and Colorbond™ Ultra. We are a leading supplier of all Insulation material including Youngtherm, Acoustisorb and are authorised distributors of Lambdaboard. We are authorised distributors of Palram polycarbonate sheeting in a variety of profiles, including IBR, corrugated and Big 6.

Our estimating department offers the service of pricing plans and bills of quantities at tender stage with a responsible follow-up service of on-site measurement on completion of the roof structure. This has the benefit of eliminating wastage and reducing costs. We also offer a comprehensive and professional consultancy service.
OUR HISTORY
We first opened our doors in 2004; serving local construction professionals and DIY homeowners. Even in these earlydays, it was always our vision to to be a one-stop shop. As the business grew, we continued to add to our product offering and started supplying more to the industrial and commercial sectors. We also moved to new premises just around the corner to house our expanding manfacturing division.
Today, our factory shop is still based in George’s thriving industrial area at 7 Fabriek Street. From here, we now service the entire Southern Cape region, with weekly deliveries to areas including Plettenberg Bay, Knynsa, Oudtshoorn, and Mossel Bay.

In 2014, we became a member of the Youngman Roofing Group. Established by Youngman Roofing and Sheet Metal Works, this group has a growing national footprint. Its Head Office in Maitland, Cape Town, is also home to a roll forming plant, which manufactures IBR, Corrugated and Concealed Fix roofing profiles.
